GOOD TO KNOW
The decisions that matter before you pick a size.
A build pipeline and a database balance resources differently. Pick a plan around what you actually run.
Fast storage is not a backup. Decide how you will keep copies and how you would recover.
Write down your packages, service settings and deployment steps, so that rebuilding is a process and not a memory test.
Pick one your software supports, with security updates. Windows images come with separate licence terms.
Keep a copy off the server. Snapshots and redundant storage are not a substitute for an independent, tested backup.
Write down your open ports, public services and who can log in. Keep only the access you need.
MANAGEMENT
Access and recovery are worth deciding before day one.
You administer a dedicated server yourself. Decide who can log in, how you would reach the machine if networking failed, and where your backups live.

FAQ
Quick answers before you choose a plan.
The plans list core counts. Contact us if you need a specific processor model confirmed.
Yes. A physical server can run several workloads, as long as you plan for their combined needs and security boundaries.
List the application, database and background processes you will run. Estimate memory and storage together, then leave headroom for updates, logs and busy periods.
Pick a plan to open the configurator, then choose your operating system, location and billing period and continue to the review step. You can change any choice before you continue.
